Clinic RVT/Vet Assistant

Location: Richmond, California

Position Summary: The Clinic RVT/Vet Assistant is the primary medical care provider for the patients at the Fix Our Ferals (FOF) Spay-Neuter Center, which includes animals from the public, local rescue organizations, and community cats. The position assists in clinic operations and supports FOF by helping the clinic team in all aspects of clinical function. This includes clinic set up, administering anesthesia, properly recording and safely maintaining controlled substances, cleaning and sterilizing surgical packs, monitoring cats post-surgery, patient discharge, cleaning the clinic, and supervising volunteers. The position will work as part of the clinic team to ensure excellent customer service, outstanding patient care, and smooth/efficient clinic function at FOF.

Spay-Neuter Clinic Program Manager

Location: Richmond, California

Position Summary: The Program Manager is responsible for facilitating the successful delivery of clinical services to the clients and patients and building excellent community relationships. This position is the primary interface with volunteers, and community members who want to utilize the services of Fix Our Ferals. The Program Manager is responsible for making it easy for people to access our services and to serve as many patients as possible. The position includes scheduling of personnel, managing and recruiting clinic volunteers, developing clinic SOP’s, building working relationships with clients and like-minded organizations, working with the clinic team to train new staff and clinic volunteers, organizing and streamlining clinic operations, and project development. The Program Manager position may also need to assist the clinic team in clinical function as necessary.
