Amazing Ferals

Free roaming and “feral” cats are often misunderstood in our communities. The free roaming cat population in urban areas includes cats that are strays that have been lost or abandoned by their owners who have become fearful of human contact, as well as cats that have never had human contact before.

Cats living outside can have a very rich and healthy life, and sometimes can adapt to humans and form meaningful bonds and relationships with us. The following pages contain amazing stories about Amazing Ferals!

Did your “feral” cat become tame with you? Do you know a cat who’s blissfully content to be feral . . . and fed? Did a feral cat adopt you? Tell the world how wonderful they are. Send your cat’s story and photos to amazing_ferals@yahoogroups.com (don’t forget the underscore in “amazing_ferals”).
